LDAP Accounts

The LDAP Accounts project consists of software written in ISO C++ and Qt QML to deliver LDAP accounts abstraction to a user of an LDAP client application. The underlying OS must support abstraction of generic account information and the LDAP client application must query the underlying OS generic account API before the LDAP accounts logic provides credentials as entered by the user during configuration. A typical use case involves a contacts or address book application displaying attributes of LDAP entries without having knowlege of any server, base DN, user, or password. An extension of this approach allows for single sign on applications.
